Lunge exercise

Lunge - make sure you feel comfortable and balanced during this exercise.

Practice the movement without weights beforehand
What you need for Lunge exercises:
  • Two dumbbells
  • Non-slip flooring

how to do it
  • Grasp two dumbbells and stand naturally. Take one large step forward, still maintaining a natural gap between your feet
  • Bend your front knee so that you take your weight on the front foot
  • Your back knee should finish approximately 6 inches from the ground. Push onto your foot foot to stand up
  • Step back and repeat on the same leg OR alternatively exercise each leg simultaneously
