Shoulder press with barbells

Shoulder press with barbell - a great exercise to strengthen the deltoid muscles.

It is important to maintain a strong posture throughout this exercise
What you need for shoulder press with barbell:
  • A barbell
  • A weight-lifting belt for heavier weights

how to do it
  • Grasp a moderately weighted barbell. Stand tall and raise the bar to shoulder level. Your palms should face away from you
  • Press the bar towards the ceiling until your arms are straight. Pause briefly
  • Slowly lower the weight back down to ear level before you attempt to repeat the previous movement
  • Also perform in a gym on a shoulder press machine as well as using free weights
