Cable curls


Cable curls - a great variation to the free weight bicep curl.

Add tone and strength to your arms whatever your training level!
 
What you need for Cable curls :
  • A cable machine
  • OR exercise tubing

how to do it
  • Stand next to a low cable machine (12 inches away) and grasp handles with plams facing away from you
     
  • Keeping your elbows close to your sides, begin to curl the handles towards you chest
     
  • As the handles reach just below shoulder level, pause, and return back to the start postion
     
  • Repeat for desired reps. i.e. 6-8 strength, 8-12 for building muscle, 12-15 for endurance and tone
