Bench decline


Bench decline - all bench presses stress the chest.

The decline press strongly stresses the lower part of the chest.
 
What you need for bench decline press :
  • A barbell
  • An adjustable bench

how to do it
  • Lie on a slightly decline bench keeping your back flat and your feet on the floor
     
  • Hold the barbell with your arms extended, slightly wider than shoulder width to start
     
  • Slowly lower the bar until it lightly touches your chest. DO NOT bounce the bar on your chest!
     
  • Forcefully press the bar back to the starting position. Repeat for the desired number of reps
