Weighted abdominals crunch

Weighted crunch - This exercise can be performed with a twist at the top.

Turning slightly will stress the oblique muscles of the waist.
What you need for Weighted abdominals crunch :
  • An exercise mat
  • A weight or medicine ball

how to do it
  • Adopt a position on your back lying on the exercise mat. Place your feet near your feet
  • Hold a weight against your chest and your feet flat on the floor towards your bottom
  • From this start position curl your chest towards your knees using the strength of your stomach muscles only
  • Exhale. Hold for a count of two before slowly lower yourself on the count of four to the start position. Pause briefly and repeat
