What you need for back extensions with a partner:

how to do it
  • Position yourself over the edge of a bench so that your hips and legs are the only body parts in contact with it
  • Ask a partner / training buddy to sit on your legs and hold down your thighs
  • Slowly bend forward at the waist until your forehead ALMOST touches the floor. Pause briefly
  • Contract your lower back and raise your upper body back to the parallel start position. Repeat
