Overall fitness tests

How do you measure overall fitness? It would require a number of different tests for each of the key areas (for example strength, flexibility, anaerobic fitness and aerobic fitness - VO2 max.)

Alternatively you could use a test that attempts to measure overall fitness in one - this would include the McCoy Physical Fitness Test and the Wilf Paish Rugby Football Test, both of which attempt an overall evaluation.
