Front raises


Front raises - a great way to isolate the anterior deltoid.

Resist the urge to use heavy weights! It will only result in cheating
 
What you need for Front raises :

how to do it
  • Grasp two dumbbells with your palms facing behind you. Stand tall with the weights by your sides
     
  • Tighten your shoulders and begin to raise the weights towards shoulder level
     
  • Exhale. Pause briefly before returning the weights slowly back to the start position. Repeat
     
  • Note: You can exercise both arms at the same time OR exercise them simultaneously as demonstrated above
