Cable side raises


Cable side raises - cable work allows you to stress specific muscles in almost isolation.

Remember - Work smarter not harder and no cheating!
 
What you need for Cable side raises :
  • A cable machine
  • OR exercise tubing

how to do it
  • Stand between two lower cable machines. Grasp the two single hand handles
     
  • Tighten your shoulders and begin to raise each handle out to your sides until they reach shoulder level
     
  • Pause briefly before lowering the handles back down to the start position
     
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions. i.e. 6 - 8 strength, 8 - 12 for building muscle, 12 - 15 for endurance and tone
