Cable side raises - cable work allows you to stress specific muscles in almost isolation.
Remember - Work smarter not harder and no cheating!
|What you need for Cable side raises :
- A cable machine
- OR exercise tubing
|how to do it
Stand between two lower cable machines. Grasp the two single hand handles
Tighten your shoulders and begin to raise each handle out to your sides until they reach shoulder level
Pause briefly before lowering the handles back down to the start position
Repeat for the desired number of repetitions. i.e. 6 - 8 strength, 8 - 12 for building muscle, 12 - 15 for endurance and tone
