Hypnotherapist jobs involve inducing a trance-like state on their clients, then help replace negative or dysfunctional patterns of behaviour with new, positive behaviours. This treatment is very effective with a number of conditions including:

Hypnotherapy is an unregulated filed, but it is worth looking for training courses that are recognized by professional bodies such as the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), The Hypnotherapy Society and the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR). All of these organisations accredit courses which meet a rigid code of ethics and practice. Courses will include academic and practical elements, and typically require one or two years of part-time study.

Once qualified, practitioners can become members of one of the professional bodies. This will require that you adhere to the code of ethics, and usually will also include requirements to ensure that you maintain your skills and knowledge with continuing professional training.
