Cable Curl for Biceps

What it does?

An alternative bicep curl, which helps provide variety in your workout

What you need?

Cable machine with straight bar

How do you do it?

- Start by standing upright holding the straight bar with both arms fully extended in front of you.
- Curl the bar towards your shoulders, bending your elbows
- Once at the top, lower the bar back down to the start position
- Do 10-15 repetitions

Key Points

- Maintain an upright position throughout, don't hunch your back
- Bend your knees slightly for balance if you need to
- If you have to swing the bar to lift it then it is too heavy
- Start slowly and gradually increase the weight
