Using step counters is a fun and easy way to keep up with your fitness walking. A step counter is a small device you wear when walking that will keep track of not only how many steps you have taken. A modern step counter is small and easy to use - typically you clip them to your waist and they sense the movement of you walking. Water and shock resistant, prices start at around ?10 for basic models.

There are also newer models on the market which offer even more features. Using advanced sensor technology, you can place them in a pocket or bag and they will still reliably count every step you take.
