Elliptical trainers

Offering a low impact workout, elliptical trainers (also known as eliptical cross trainers) have increased in popularity in the last few years and are now found all good gyms and health clubs. But does the eliptical cross trainer make a good choice for home gym equipment?

There's the low impact workout (compared to other equipment), the fact that elliptical trainers mimic the normal movement of the foot, leg, and hip during walking or running and because it is worked by weight bearing, it can still help to build bone density and inhibit the onset of osteoporosis.
