Side effects of propecia

You need to be aware of the possible side effects of propecia then you should be aware of these prior to taking the medicine.

Many people have no side effects of Propecia medication, however it should be remembered that if your GP has prescribed you a course and you have ordered it, then the benefits are greater that the possible side effects of propecia - none of which are known to be long term.

For example decreased sexual desire/ability may occur in some men and Propecia can decrease the amount of semen released by your testes.

These are harmless side effects, however should they worsen then contact your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

If you order Propecia and use the medicine as directed, these are some of the unlikely but possible side effects that can occur in a small number of users:

  • Impotence

  • Dull pain in your testicles

  • Breast tenderness/swelling

  • reduced volume of ejaculation

  • ejaculation disorders

  • decreased sex drive

  • hypersensitivity reactions such as itching, rash, hives, or swelling of the lips or face

Because a side effect is listed here does not mean that all users will experience any or that particular side effect. However if you do notice any the side effects listed above you should contact you doctor or pharmacist.
