Dumbbell Bicep Curl

What it does?

One of the simplest and most effective exercises for toning and developing the biceps muscle.

What you need?

2 dumbbells

How do you do it?

- Start by standing upright holding a dumbbell in each hand down by your sides
- With one arm, lift the dumbbell towards your shoulder, bending your elbow
- Lower back down to the start position
- Repeat with other arm
- Do 10 times on each arm

Key Points

- Maintain an upright position throughout, don't hunch your back
- Bend your knees slightly for balance if you need to
- If you have to swing the dumbbell to lift it then it is too heavy
- Start slowly and gradually increase the weight
