Leg extensions


Leg extensions - develops the front thigh muscles quickly and effectively.

Exercise one leg for one leg, ten exercise the other
 
What you need for leg extensions :
  • A bench and ankle weights
  • OR an extension machine

how to do it
  • Sit on a chair, bench etc. Raise one foot slightly off the ground. This foot will not rest on the ground throughout
     
  • Contract your quadriceps and raise your foot into the air. Pause when your leg is ALMOST straight
     
  • Slowly lower you foot towards the start position. Repeat without pausing. Remember. Exercise both legs!
     
  • This exercise can also be performed on the leg extension machine at your local health club or gym
  • other leg exercises
