Cable Row

What it does?

A great exercise for your upper and middle back which also stresses the shoulders and triceps.

What you need?

Cable machine

How do you do it?

- Start off standing upright with knees slightly bent facing the cable machine
- Hold the pulleys or bar about shoulder width apart
- Pull the pulleys/bar towards your upper chest
- Pause briefly and then straighten your arms, returning back to the start position
- Repeat movement for desired number of repetitions

Key Points

- Stay upright throughout, keep your upper body still and back in neutral posture.
- Focus on using your arms and back muscles to control the movement
