GLL Leisure Centres review

Greenwich Leisure Limited (or GLL) manages more than fifty public leisure centres within the M25 area in seven London Boroughs. GLL gyms & fitness centres offer a wide range of facilities. At a typical GLL centre you can expect to find the following on offer:

  • Fitness :

    Clubs offer three levels of exercise classes, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Classes range from kick aerobics and aerobike to Pilates and yoga.

  • Most centres have an extensive range of cardio and resistance equipment, with many centres even offering group rowing sessions for members.

  • When it's time to relax at the end of your workout you'll find areas to stretch, a recovery zone, and a juice bar.

    many centres have pools that offer a variety of both recreational and lap swimming.

  • Racquet sports :

    Badminton, squash, tennis are widely available.

  • GP referral :

    Fitness experts can design a programme that will complement the medical treatment given by local practitioners.

  • Wellbeing :

    Centres regularly offer clinics which provide advice and information on health, fitness and life style topics.

  • Personal training

    One on one sessions with a personal trainer can help you customise your workouts to really achieve your goals.

  • Seniors :

    A comprehensive programme of sports and social activities for the 50 plus group.

  • Ante and post natal :

    A variety of water-based and exercise classes designed just for mothers to be and new mothers.
