Day spas

Looking for a Day Spa that offers you relaxation, indulgence and pampering? Sounds like fun, but what exactly sets Day Spas apart from other Spas? As it sounds, you go for the day to get massages, body treatments, facials and even manicuresm but you can't opt to stay the night.

It's this short duration that makes it the most pocketbook-friendly way to indulge youself. It can also be shoe-horned into a hectic schedule more easily and means it's that much easier to justify taking the time to look after your health and wellbeing. And because of its compact nature, a trip to the Day Spa can be a great gift, or a unique way to celebrate a special occasion, like a birthday or a hen night!

The facilities are basically the same as you would find in a longer term facility, though there may be a smaller number of treatments to choose from. Guests can participate in exercise classes, have a sauna, or get a facial, manicure or pedicure, and in some facilities they may dine at the in-house restaurants. Currently there aren't very many facilities that only provide a non-residential service, so it's worth knowing that most of the other types of more longer term facilities also offer this kind of in-out treatment, at a different cost.

Though the health benefits of this type of facility are obviously not a extensive because of the shorter duration of the treatment, it can be amazing how far a few hours of indulgence can go towards lowering stress levels. Even a couple of hours scheduled into a busy monthly schedule can help to reduce anxiety and help you live and work in a more relaxed manner.
