Spa manager jobs

Throughout facilities in the UK, spa managers are responsible for all aspects of running the business. As most of these are privately owned, it means that they are expected to make a profit.

From managing and motivating employees to dealing with clients, financial management to marketing and promotions, spa mangers do it all. Given the wide range of responsibilities held by most spa managers, training is essential. Owners will typically look for candidates who can offer a combination of customer service experience and management qualifications.

There are some courses offered for spa managers, but you would typically expect to take a course such as this once you are in employment, to improve your range of skills. Most other training will take place on the job. This is an international field these days, so the job possibilities are widespread. As a result, earnings are hard to estimate, but should be broadly in line with other management positions in similar sized businesses.
