Tricep extensions


Tricep extensions - Strong triceps mean strong, toned and shapely arms.

The triceps make up 2/3 of the upper arm. Do not neglect them!
 
What you need for Tricep extensions :
  • A dumbbell
  • An exercise mat or bench

how to do it
  • Grasp a light dumbbell in one hand. Stand or sit on a bench. Extend your arm high above your head
     
  • Place your opposite hand across your shoulder and place it on the upper arm of the exercising arm for balance
     
  • Slowly lower the weight behind your head towards the opposite shoulder. Pause when you feel a slight stretch in the triceps
     
  • Lower slowly (for a count of two) and repeat for the desired number of repetitions
