Bench press with dumbells


Bench press with dumbells - All presses stress the chest.

Dumbbell presses may stress the chest slightly more due to an increase in the ROM
 
What you need for bench press with dumbells :

how to do it
  • Position yourself on a bench with your feet on the floor and your back flat against the pad
     
  • Have someone pass you two moderately weighted dumbbells. Hold them at arms length above your chest
     
  • Slowly bend your elbows so that you lower the weights under complete control to chest level
     
  • From this position forcefully press the weights back to the starting position. Pause briefly and repeat
