Swiss ball press up

What it does?

An advancement of the conventional push-up. Using a swiss ball to balance your legs on will strengthen the abdominal muscles and improve core stability

What you need?

A swiss/gym ball

How do you do it?

- Get yourself into a press-up position with your shins or feet resting on the top of a swiss ball
- From this position, lower your chest down to the floor bending your elbows
- Pause briefly at the bottom then push yourself back up
- Repeat 8-12 times and do 3 sets

Key Points

- Contract your abdominal muscles whilst performing the movement
