Step-Up (Knee)

What it does?

A great exercise for improving strength and balance in the legs to support the knee joint. Hold dumbbells or a barbell to increase the difficulty

What you need?

A step or bench/box

How do you do it?

- Set a step height of about 6-10 inches and stand facing the step. (The higher the step the harder you will have to work)
- Step up onto the box with your left leg followed by the right leg
- Pause at the top then step down with your left leg and bring the right leg back down
- Repeat leading with the right leg
- Do 10 times leading with each leg

Key Points

- Remain balanced throughout
